Andrew Day |
| | A local lifeguard and surfer on the Outer Banks, Andrew moved from his hometown of Roanoke, Virginia to D.C. to study photography and earned his bachelor’s in Art and Visual Technology at George Mason University. Working freelance and producing pieces for designers, local and regional, Andrew’s exclusive work can be found in hand picked locations along the east coast and in the Outer Banks.Andrew expresses his artistic vision through a variety of photographic techniques, ranging from digital photography to medium and large format and 19th century contact-printing processes (Van Dyke, Cyanotype) that can take hours to develop. "I base my images primarily on the emotions I have while photographing and developing them. Each one is a unique expression of how I felt at the time."
