| | | Maureen Brady is a self-taught watercolorist whose love for the Outer Banks has been a source of constant inspiration. She began her watercolor career doing church and house portraits. After her first visit to Hatteras Island for a family vacation, she began a series of watercolor originals of the Outer Banks, and never stopped. Maureen's love of the ocean, the beach, the dunes, the piers and lighthouses, and the wonderful people who share her passion keeps her very busy in between her visits to the area. While she currently lives in Cleveland, OH, with her husband Mike and their two children, Michael and Clare, like many other Outer Banks lovers, she hopes to relocate in the area "some day." Her originals have been available in Yellowhouse since the fall of 2007 and include seascapes, shells, and her signature "Backs to the Beach" series.
