Yellowhouse Gallery includes three rooms devoted to antique prints. Our general antique
print room has antique maps, wood and steel engravings by Winslow Homer and Thomas Nast,
fashion from the 1800, a section devoted to ships and the sea, scenic views from around
the country, portraits, and much more.
Our natural history room combines antique and modern prints of birds, botanicals (flowers
and ferns), shells, animals, and butterflies.
Our Civil War room showcases wood engravings of battles, maps from the official Civil War
atlas, portraits of leaders and generals, and scenics from the period.

James Melvin, Judith Bailey, and Maureen "Salvo" Brady offer representational watercolors and
oils. Robin Naomi Rogers, wildlife artist, specializes in acrylic wash paintings of birds in
natural settings. The impressionistic and contemporary paintings of Sandra Ball, Diane Luke,
Pete Rudolph, and Jim Harris feature bold colors and patterns. Mike Ruzzo lovingly restores
architectural salvage pieces-- such as mantles, shutters, newel posts, and railings--then
embelishes them with painted, shallow carvings for his signature creations.

Yellowhouse Gallery features work by local artists as well as by those who share a deep love for the Outer Banks.
Local artists displayed in the gallery's front room include James Melvin, Linda Browning, Billy Brown, Peggy Stovall,
Lisa Cooper, Glen Dodenhoff, as well as Ray Matthews' photography. E. M. Corsa's whimsical critters and colorful
beach prints delight all ages; her originals reveal a sophisticated sense of humor and are often created with
an antique map image (acquired from Yellowhouse) as the background.
Owner Eve Turek offers nature and landscape photography.
